Diagnostic consideration of ultrasound examination were analyzed for peritoneal pelvic adhesions detection at fertility females, who were undergone previous various surgical procedures.
The analysis of ultrasound examinations of 90 patients who were treated surgically and underwent surgery in the abdominal and pelvic organs earlier. Echographic examination consisted of two phases: transabdominal and transvaginal, which were held in a certain pattern. Skin scars area, the projection on the anterior abdominal wall parietal peritoneum incision in the previous
operations and periomphalic area were estimated. We used a few special tests: traction and compression tests.
The most informative to diagnose adhesions are the following sonographic signs: local thickening of the parietal peritoneum with increased echo signal, the presence of liquid structures in the pelvis, which are not related to the ovary, positive traction and compressive tests.
Ultrasound examination is informative diagnostic method for peritoneal pelvic adhesions and place detection of Veresh needle intake and first troacar during laparoscopic procedures.
