Author Guidelines

1. References Requirements (Vancouver Style)

The journal "Perinatology and Reproductology: from Scientific Research to Practice" uses the Vancouver citation style (the "author-number" system). Accuracy in citations is the responsibility of the authors.

General Guidelines:

  • Order: Sources must be numbered in the order they are first mentioned in the text (not alphabetically).
  • In-text Citations: Use Arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g., [1] or [3, 7–11].
  • Author Rules: List all authors if there are 6 or fewer. If there are 7 or more, list the first 6 followed by "et al."
  • Journal Titles: Use standard NLM (National Library of Medicine) abbreviations for journal titles.
  • DOI: Providing a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for all sources where available is mandatory.

1. Journal Articles

Format: Author AA, Author BB, Author CC. Title of the article. Abbreviated Journal Name. Year;Volume(Issue):Page range. DOI.

Example: Smith JD, Doe JA, Brown RK. Modern approaches to fetal monitoring. J Perinatol Med. 2024;42(3):215-222. doi: 10.1515/jpme-2023-0045

2. Books and Monographs

Format: Author AA, Author BB. Title of the Book. Edition (if not the first). City of publication: Publisher; Year.

Example: Gabbe SG, Niebyl JR. Obstetrics: Normal and Problem Pregnancies. 8th ed. Philadelphia: Elsevier; 2021.

3. Chapter in an Edited Book

Format: Author AA. Title of the chapter. In: Editor EE, editor. Title of the Book. City of publication: Publisher; Year. p. [page range].

Example: Johnson RT. Neonatal resuscitation. In: Miller KH, editor. Textbook of Neonatology. London: Oxford University Press; 2022. p. 115-130.

4. Electronic Sources / Websites

Format: Author/Organization. Title of the page [Internet]. Year [cited Year Month Day]. Available from: URL.

Example: World Health Organization. Maternal mortality [Internet]. 2023 [cited 2024 Jan 15]. Available from: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/maternal-mortality

Резюме / Abstract (150-250 слів)

  • Мета (Purpose): ...
  • Методи (Methods): ...

    Ключові слова (Keywords): 3–8 слів, розділених крапкою з комою.

Основний текст статті (Structure IMRAD):

  1. Вступ (Introduction)

Обґрунтування актуальності теми, аналіз останніх досліджень, визначення мети статті.

  1. Матеріали та методи (Materials and Methods)

Опис дизайну дослідження, об'єкта, методів обстеження та статистичного аналізу. Для клінічних досліджень — вказати дотримання етичних норм та наявність інформованої згоди.

  1. Результати (Results)

Виклад основних результатів дослідження. Таблиці та рисунки мають бути пронумеровані та мати назви.

  1. Обговорення (Discussion)

Інтерпретація отриманих результатів, порівняння з даними інших авторів, обмеження дослідження.

  1. Висновки (Conclusions)

Стислі підсумки роботи відповідно до поставленої мети.

Конфлікт інтересів / Conflict of Interest

Автори заявляють про відсутність конфлікту інтересів або вказують наявні фінансові зв'язки.

Фінансування / Funding

Вказати джерело фінансування (якщо є) або зазначити, що робота виконана за власні кошти.
